There are Four Types of Limited-Time Events!

Shining Live has four types of events: Set List Events, Collection Events, Town Events, and Score Battles.

In Set List Events, Collection Events, and Town Events, you collect Event Points and increase your rank to receive Event Photos, Prisms, Medals, and other rewards.

In Score Battles, you compete with other players to get the highest score. You’ll receive limited edition Stickers and rewards based on your Battle rank.

We’ll now explain each of these events in greater detail.

What is a Set List Event?

In Set List Events, you play through a set list of seven songs to receive Event Points.

By obtaining a certain amount of Event Points, you’ll unlock event stories and Photos, and you will also be rewarded with all kinds of items. Additionally, your total Event Points will determine your rank, and you’ll receive even more extravagant rewards depending on how high your rank is.

You can select the difficulty before playing through the set list.

You can get a higher score by playing on a higher difficulty level. However, you may receive a lower score if you miss too many notes.

Once you complete the set list, you’ll get bonus Event Points depending on how high your score is. You cannot change the difficulty in the middle of playing through the set list, and if you give up partway through, you won’t receive a bonus. Make sure you select a difficulty that you can handle.

Once you complete a set list once, you can use the Auto Play feature to play through it automatically.

– Event Missions
Event Missions are selected at random when you begin a set list. You can gain extra Event Points by completing these missions. Be aware that Event Missions cannot be completed while in Auto Play mode. There are three types of missions:

– Complete with a Full Combo 3 times
– Complete with at least 90% Stamina remaining 4 times
– Get X Perfects

What is a Collection Event?

In Collection Events, you play through whatever songs you like to receive Event Points and Collection Points.

Unlike Set List Events or Town Events, you will always receive points no matter what song you play.

Just like in Set List Events, your total Event Points will determine your rank, and you’ll receive even more extravagant rewards depending on how high your rank is.

Additionally, your Collection Points can be exchanged for Photos or items at the Collection Point Exchange.

– Gain more points with select Crowd Pleaser songs!
During Collection Events, songs labeled as Crowd Pleasers will award you with more Collection Points and Event Points than other songs.

You can check which songs are Crowd Pleasers in the in-game notifications or by going to “Live Show” on the Main screen or bottom right Menu, then tapping the “Campaign” tab.

Playing Crowd Pleasers is a more effective way to gain points. The lineup of Crowd Pleasers will change depending on whether it’s the first half or second half of the event, so keep an eye out for which songs qualify and play those to gain more points.

– Complete the Event Song to obtain even more points!
During a Collection Event, you can exchange Collection Points for Event Song Passes.

Use Event Song Passes to play the Event Song and gain even more Event Points and Collection Points than in other songs!

It isn’t easy to obtain Event Song Passes, so consider using a 3x Boost when playing the Event Song to gain even more points from each Pass.

What is a Town Event?

In Town Events, you proceed through stages in the Town to receive Event Points. Each stage has a set list of three songs.

Stamina is shared across all songs in a given stage, so make the most of your limited Stamina to try to complete the set list!

Just like in Set List Events, your total Event Points will determine your rank, and you’ll receive even more extravagant rewards depending on how high your rank is.

– Get more bonus points by completing Missions!
Each stage will have three different Missions. Completing Missions will award you with Mission Stars, which will in turn reward you with more Event Points!

In addition to getting more Event Points upon completing the live show, you’ll also get a variety of rewards! Check the Missions before you start a stage and try to get the Event Point Bonus.

– Get even more Event Points for completing an Extra Stage!
When you complete each stage, your Hype meter will increase. Use Hype to take on Extra Stages.

You can play special Event Songs in Extra Stages. They’ll award you with even more Event Points than other songs!

What is a Score Battle?

In Score Battles, you can compete with other players to get the highest score in live shows and receive Battle Points.

You’ll play three songs in a row, selected at random, and compete with other players to see who can get the highest score. Meet various conditions, such as getting a high score, beating other players, or achieving a Full Combo, to receive Battle Points. Obtain a certain amount of Battle Points to increase your Score Battle Rank. The higher your Score Battle Rank is at the end of the event, the better your rewards will be.

– Score Battles do not consume LP
You can participate in Score Battles by using special Score Battle Passes, which means you can play Score Battles without consuming any LP! You’ll automatically receive one Score Battle Pass every eight hours, and you can hold up to four Score Battle Passes at once.

– Get limited edition Stickers at the end of the event!
If your Score Battle Rank is D or higher at the end of the event, you’ll receive a limited edition Sticker as one of your rewards. The design of the Sticker changes depending on your final Score Battle Rank.

Go to “Other” on the Main screen or to the bottom right Menu, then tap “Player Details.” Select “Stickers” to change which Sticker is displayed.

Some Stickers are distributed for a limited time outside of Score Battles. Select your favorite design to display.
