5All About Live Shows!

What is a Live Show?

New songs will be unlocked as you proceed through the main story. You can access the song selection screen from “Live Shows” on the Main screen or the Menu button on the bottom right.

Songs will have one of three different attributes:
Shine Emoji
Star Emoji
Dream Emoji

Learn more about how to edit a Unit to match the song you want to play by reading the “All About Editing Units!” article.

Selecting a Guest

Once you decide on the song you want to play, you’ll be sent to the Guest Selection screen. When you select a Guest, that Guest’s Leader Skill will be applied to your Performance when you play the live show. If you select a Guest who is not your Friend, you can also send a Friend Request after finishing the live show.

Select a Guest to help you out during the song.

Selecting a Unit

Choose a Unit that matches the attribute of the song you will be playing.

After you complete a song once, you’ll be able to use the Auto Play feature to complete that song automatically. Activating Auto Play is as simple as setting Auto to “On” and then selecting “Start.” However, bear in mind that it is harder to achieve higher scores with Auto Play compared to playing manually.

If you set Repeat to “On,” you can automatically replay the same song after completing it. Use this feature when you want to play one song over and over again.

If you set Boost to “On,” the song will consume more LP than usual depending on the Boost level. In exchange, you’ll gain more rewards when you complete the song, such as items, Photo EXP, or Bond increase. However, bear in mind that it will not affect the number of idol-specific Gems Emojiyou receive.

Playing a Live Show!

When the song begins, rhythm icons will move toward the tap area. Tap the rhythm icons once they line up with the tap area.

Tap and hold for long icons.

Slide icons require you to tap and slide your finger in the direction of the incoming icons.

Simul-tap icons must be tapped at the same time.

Getting the timing wrong will drain your Stamina. If it hits zero, the live show will be stopped.

Your score is given a lettered rank from E to S, in increasing order of E>D>C>B>A>S. The higher your score, the more items and Gems you’ll be rewarded with. Additionally, each song has a Target score in accordance with the difficulty setting, and you will receive Target completion rewards when you meet the Target for the first time. There are other goals to shoot for as well, such as Max Combo and Completion Count, so try to aim for all of them!

What is “Bond” ?

Bond shows how close you are with a particular idol. You can improve your Bond with an idol by playing live shows or interacting with them on the Main screen.
When you improve your Bond with an idol, your Bond rank will increase, which in turn grants you voice clips for that idol and various reactions from the other idols.

1. Complete Live Shows
Completing live shows will improve your Bond with all the idols whose Photos are included in that Unit. Your Bond will increase more with the idol whose Photo you have set as the Leader. If you have multiple Photos of the same idol in your Unit, your Bond with that idol will increase even more.

2. Interact with the Idols on the Main Screen
Tapping an idol on the Main screen to interact will increase your Bond. Learn more about how to do this by reading the “All About Interacting with Idols!” article.

3. Read Side Stories
Read the side stories you’ve unlocked in Moments to greatly increase your Bond with that idol. Learn more about side stories by reading the “All About Stories!” article.

Heart Link Points

By completing live shows, you can gain Heart Link Points between the idol set as the Leader of the Unit and the other idols in the Unit. As Heart Link Points increase, the idols will grow closer to each other. Go to “Idol” in the menu, select your desired idol, and then tap “Heart Link” to view that idol’s Heart Link status with the other idols.

Just like when you improve your Bond, increasing Heart Link Points will grant you voice clips and unlock conversations between idols. Conversations are only unlocked when your Bond with a certain idol and their Heart Link Points with the selected idol have reached a certain level. Learn more about conversations by reading the “All About Conversation Mode!” article.

What are Special Songs?

Aside from the Normal Songs that are unlocked by proceeding through the main story, there are also Special Songs that can be played from the Campaign tab. Special Songs are only available for a limited time or on certain days of the week.

Completing Special Songs increases your Bond by twice as much as Normal Songs.

Some Special Songs also grant the following bonuses:

1. Gem Bonus
Special Songs with a Gem Bonus give out more Gems than Normal Songs. You may also sometimes acquire a rare idol-specific Gem Emoji.

2. EXP Bonus
Special Songs with an EXP Bonus give out more items, like EXP Boosters or Skill Boosters, than Normal Songs. You may also sometimes acquire rare Sub Skill Boosters.

3. Bond Bonus
Special Songs with a Bond Bonus give three times the Bond increase compared to Normal Songs.

Have fun playing all kinds of songs!
