What is a Lesson?

Level up Photos with Lessons! You can use either EXP Boosters from live shows or other Photos. Raising a Photo’s level also boosts its Performance.

What is a Special Lesson?

Under the Lesson category, you can raise a Photo’s rank by using a duplicate Photo in a Special Lesson.

Raising a Photo’s rank also increases its max level, allowing for further improvement. Furthermore, Special Lessons give you items (Gems) needed to unlock Moments.

What are Moments?

Each Photo has a Moments section.

Moment tiles can be unlocked with attribute-specific items called “Gems.” There are three possible attributes: Shine , Star , and Dream . You can unlock new Moment tiles by using Gems with the same attribute as the Photo.

Unlocking Moments doesn’t just raise a Photo’s Performance. You can also obtain Side Stories, Outfits, voice clips, and Special Shots.

Expanding Moments

Each time you raise a Photo’s rank with a Special Lesson, you will add more Moment tiles.

Added Moments tiles can include Sub Skills, Leader Skill bonuses, autographs, or special messages from your idol (dependent on Photo rarity).

*A Photo must be at least rank 2 for a Message tile and max rank for an Autograph tile.

To unlock new Moment tiles, you’ll need Gems with the corresponding attribute as well as idol-specific Gems (a microphone-shaped Gem).

Idol-specific Gems can sometimes be obtained by clearing special Gem Bonus songs. They can also be purchased in the Item Shop, and White Gems can be exchanged at the Item Shop for idol-specific Gems.

What is the Crown Challenge?

A Photo is only eligible for the Crown Challenge if it is rank 2 or above and its level is maxed out. Setting a Crown to a Photo will raise its Performance. To take the Crown Challenge, you will need to use certain items, like EXP Boosters, Medals, and Gems.

From the Lesson menu, select “Crown Challenge” to see which Photos can participate. Once you have chosen a Photo you would like to set a Crown for and used the required items, the Challenge will begin.

For one Crown Challenge, +200 will be added to one random Performance stat (Charm, Dance, or Vocal). If you wish, you may choose to retake the Challenge and reset the Photo’s Crowns.

Notes
– When retaking a Challenge, all of the current Crowns will be removed.
– Every time you take the Crown Challenge, items will be consumed.

You can add up to three Crowns on any Photo.

A rank 2 Photo can have one Crown (Silver ).
A rank 3 Photo can have two Crowns (Gold ).
A max rank Photo can have three Crowns (Premier ).

There are also items called “Symbols ” that can be used to set a Crown of a particular type (Dance, Vocal, or Charm). Using a Symbol for a Crown Challenge takes the place of the items normally consumed. You can set whichever Crown you like, so try using them on your favorite Photos.
